Responsibilities:

  • Highly visible position within Rescue product organization, sharing P&L responsibility with other functional leaders representing Sales, Operation, Finance, and Human Resources. The individual must possess the skills and ability to operate at a very high level of leadership in a matrix-management environment.
  • Drive business growth in China, eventually brings up other business under Rescue group. GM needs and international outlook for this task as a close coordination with other global team outside of China will be required.
  • Lead all operational aspects of this facility including: Operations: Production, Quality, Procurement & PMC, Design Engineering, IT, Opex; Facilities Management; Sales, Customer Service and Support; Finance; and local Human Resources.
  • Be the key champion of continuous improvement efforts in all areas of the organization by leveraging the company’s focus on Lean, Mixed-Model Value Stream, Business Value Stream Management, Design for Manufacturing and Six-Sigma, S&OP business planning and/or other progressive customer fulfillment techniques.
  • Be a strong leader through coaching and mentoring the organizations staff. Ensure the organization is structured appropriately to provide the highest quality, productivity, and product/service value to exceed customer satisfaction. Provide the appropriate training and career development for employees to maintain the organizations leadership position and strong customer relationships for continued business growth and success. The candidate must exhibit excellent customer interaction skills and work with all functional colleagues.


Desired Background:

  • Bacher or advanced degree in Mechanical, Hydraulic or related is required. Advanced degree (MBA) is highly preferred.
  • At least 10+ years or more experience in a high-technology manufacturing environment. At least five years experience in a senior level strategic manufacturing or operations position, preferably with direct P&L responsibility or a high degree of influence on P&L performance in a matrix-management organizational structure.
  • Experience in managing other functional areas of high technology companies such as Sales, Operation is highly desirable.
  • Have experience in flexible modern manufacturing techniques, including cellular or lean manufacturing, mixed-model value stream management, and design for manufacturing and six-sigma. A background in establishing, monitoring and refreshing Key Process Indicators (KPI’s) and other business-specific metrics to monitor and communicate the health of the business to employees, customers, and company management are highly desirable.
  • Possess the demonstrated ability to motivate and manage staff and associates to achieve high levels of performance while maintaining high morale and a culture of respect for all stakeholders in the enterprise – customers, employees, and shareholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership and communications throughout the organization will be key to this individual’s success. Individual must have the ability to articulate strategic and tactical ideas clearly, both orally and in writing; to listen accurately; and to establish personal rapport with people from a variety of backgrounds and all levels of the organization to develop and execute robust, challenging business plans. The individual must also exhibit strong leadership abilities by clearly assigning responsibility to individuals at various levels of the organization and holding them accountable to meeting stated objectives.
  • Strong ability to respond to common inquiries and communications from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. The individual must be able to effectively present information to customers, executive management, employees and shareholders/company analysts that conveys the unique added-value of the company’s products and services which differentiate it from its competitors.
  • Team builder who is good at recruiting and developing talents, comfortable with delegating and sensitive to handle complicated people and organization challenges. Fluent English communication both in written and oral.
